Does your insurance policy include Choice of Repairer? Many major insurance companies will not allow you to choose who repairs your vehicle. Meaning that you may need to travel to another town to use their preferred repairer to complete your repairs. We strongly recommend you consider insurers who offer Choice of Repairer (this is not the same as Preferred Repairer). Make sure you do your research.
If your vehicle has been damaged by someone else (you we not at fault) and they make an insurance claim, you have choice of repairer.
